I went to church in a baptist church, and ofcourse in the youth group, you had a band that sang songs about Jesus…which kind of sounds more like apology music, and everone gets sappy…then fall asleep when the bible is read, and go out to eat after church on Wednesdays. I’m a pagan, but I’m currently going to an Eastern Orthodox church, which pretty much is pagan, but with Christ as the center deity. lol I felt very connected. They sing when they pray, and when they invoke various saints for reverence just likr the EARLIEST CHRISTIANS did. THey have beautiful voices, and they’re in good health. Old ladies stand for all night vigil (orthodox mass) and vespers…and it’s more about appreciation than guilt…and I like the fact when you talk about history, they actually know what you’re talking about!

Worship and praise song called “Running” from Christ For The Nations Institute (CFNI) featuring Worship Leaders Klaus Kuehn and Rachel Jackson. Christ For The Nations Institute (CFNI) is an interdenominational three year Christian Bible institute located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas (USA). The Bible based curriculum is taught from a Charismatic/Pentecostal heritage. There are five ministry schools specializing in pastoral and leadership, children and families, missions, worship and technical arts, and youth. CFNI also holds Youth For The Nations (YFN), a summer youth camp. There is also a Spanish Institute for students wishing to work in the Latino/Hispanic world. All the schools specialize in teaching students how to provide resources for completing church buildings, caring for orphans, supporting the nation of Israel, providing humanitarian relief, establishing and strengthening international Bible schools, and the distributing Christian literature. Relax and enjoy this composition I made with sitar and vocals. Christian Tatonetti was born in Montreal. itunes.apple.com Helived for ten year son Salt Spring Island, and now resides in Victoria. This innovative musician plays sitar, piano and is currently studying classical singing at the Victoria Conservatory of Music with the illustrious soprano Nancy Argenta. He won first prize for best original song at “Le Gala Provincial de laChanson” in British-Columbia in 2002. He was awarded “Best Singer Interpreter” at the same Provincial competition in 2004. Christian also joined Théâtre Inconnu for their production of ”Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris” in Victoria. Christian is currently a chorus member of Pacific Opera Victoria. Last spring, Christian sang in Mozart’s ”Cosi FanTutte” and will sing once again with the company in Puccini’s “LaBohème” in February 2011. In addition, he hosts a morning show called ”Bon Matin” at a local French radio station in Victoria. (107.9 FM CILS) Christian also performs at music festivals and at Victoria’s waterfront playing his sitar.
